NAFA Chat: What is ‘value’ for artists?

‘Value’ can be thought of in two key ways: benefits and finances.

Benefits can include developing skills, growing your network, building a fan base, having fun, earning money or upgrading your CV.

Finances might sound simple, but beyond how much you earn per hour or per job, there's complexity in understanding your financial worth and how the market impacts this, and complexity in the various ways you can be paid, such as cash versus residuals.
