Proposition: “Reality TV is better than scripted drama”
Get ready for another dose of seriously light-hearted and light-heartedly serious contemporary debate that stirs passions and provokes discussion.
Be persuaded by the three-a-side teams of articulate speakers drawn from the local performing and filmmaking community.
The speakers passionate, the topic hot. Actor versus filmmaker, husband versus wife, life versus death. The outcome of the industry is in your hands: join the discussion and cast your vote for or against the motion.
Be entertained, very entertained!
The team for the negative (that reality TV is not better than scripted drama), led by Emanda Percival, won by about three audience votes. Nonetheless, the closing arguments of the leader for the affirmative, John Haly, drew the most positive spontaneous audience response.
