Chris Chow
Chris Chow is Managing Director of Creative Lawyers, a law firm specialising in advising clients on intellectual property, contractual, production, and commercial matters in the entertainment and creative industries.
Years of experience span the entertainment and creative industries in chain-of-title matters, the protection of intellectual property, and contractual negotiations and enforcement on behalf of producers, writers, talent, and large organisations. Chris and his firm have become a one-stop-shop for matters of significance within the entertainment and creative industries. The list of clients include Beyond Entertainment, Screen Australia, LADbible, Active Artists Management, MEAA, Osher Günsberg, and Tones and I.
Chris is a board member of the Communications and Media Law Association (CAMLA). He is a committee member of LAWSKI, the ski race for lawyers which has been held in Thredbo since 1990. He also works pro-bono with the Arts Law Centre of Australia.
Chris is passionate about the entertainment and creative industries. He sees himself as working in the entertainment and creative industries as a lawyer, rather than being a lawyer who has clients in the entertainment and creative industries.
