Thirteen finalists screening over two nights
Although a short film can be submitted to any number of broadcast and online festivals, nothing beats the Show & Tell format for which Show-Fest has become well known. This is not your typical short film fest; be prepared to share filmmaking stories, compare notes, and exchange lessons learnt.
The only thing missing from Show-Fest will be anonymity. Cast and crew will be onstage for the Q&A after each screening. Even the audience gets a go: each night one film will be voted the winner by all present.

Although the start of the festival was delayed due to technical problems with the venue’s audio-visual system, once Show-Fest 2007 was underway, there was no stopping it. 2012 received the most votes from the audience, and Happy Birthday Rebecca and The Silence In Between came second and third, respectively. All three films were separated by only one vote!
Friday night will feature seven new films.
That’s all, folks!
Show-Fest is over for another year, with a great crowd that enjoyed both the films and the Show & Tell. By the Book was the audience-voted best film, and we hope the filmmakers return with submissions for Action-Fest!
