Guest Speaker: Steve Jaggi
Steve JaggiSteve has been working in the film industry for over a decade. After graduating from film school at Griffith University, Brisbane, he moved to the UK where he began his career as a reality TV producer before joining a sales agency, HJ Entertainment, that specialised in genre films.
While there, Steve expanded the agency’s brief to include drama and documentary. He eventually moved into feature film production, and has produced half a dozen features and feature documentaries.
In 2010 Steve moved back to Australia and established Jaggi.Shute with Liz Shute, and has a number of projects in development. His most recent credits include Circle of Lies (working title Short Beach), which is being distributed by Warner Bros.
Steve has a keen understanding of the international marketplace and knows what buyers are looking for. He’ll be speaking about the realities of getting your film made and the steps to get to the first rung on the ladder.
