Guest Speaker: Sandra Lee Paterson

Sandra Lee PatersonSandra is an Australian Writers’ Guild (AWG) board member and a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Acting and post-graduate of the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS).

She has 30 years extensive experience as a professional in all facets of stage, film, and television. Her local and international roles have included acting, directing, producing, training, and casting. Sandra is also a judge on several film festival panels and television talent shows.

On returning to Australia, she established On Camera Studio, a training academy at Fox Studios for professional actors, presenters, and directors. It is also a facility to assist in the development of new film and television projects. On Camera has also branched out to include international acting and corporate clients in London, France, New York, LA, and the Middle East.

Sandra’s credits include: directing Arthur Miller’s I Can’t Remember Anything and Clara, Tennessee Williams’s Auto-da-Fé and Talk to Me Like the Rain and Let Me Listen and many other shows. She has also worked with actors and directors of mini-series (“Tales of the South Seas”, “A Dangerous Life”) and features (Till There Was You, Strictly Ballroom, and The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert).
