Faith Martin
Faith began her career as a theatrical agent, establishing an agency (now called Shanahan Management) that became an integral part of the Australian film industry.
She has been involved in developing the careers of some of Australia’s most successful actors, including Mel Gibson, Geoffrey Rush, Wendy Hughes, and many more.
As a casting director Faith has cast Australian films including Strictly Ballroom, The Sum of Us, The Crossing, Gabriel, and Healing as well as popular Australian television series “Blue Heelers”, “Water Rats”, the first season of “Sea Patrol”, and “A Dangerous Life” for HBO (which was produced by Hal McElroy out of the Philippines).
Over the last decade Faith has cast for international television networks, including ABC, NBC, Sony, Fox, Amazon, Starz, the Sundance Channel, BBC America, and AMC. Her international television credits include “Spartacus”, “Ash vs Evil Dead”, “Legend of the Seeker”, “Rectify”, and “Black Sails”.
