Guest Speaker: Gerry Sont
Gerry Sont Gerry joined Actors Equity of Australia (now part of MEAA) in 1976. He has been a professional working actor for 40 years.
Like many actors, he branched out into teaching, tennis coaching, real estate, and seven years as sales and marketing director for a group of hotels in the Fiji islands.
During his 10 years at NIDA Gerry created its Open Program’s one-year TV presenting course, which he also facilitated. Within the NIDA Corporate division he was their senior trainer.
Currently he works as an affiliate lecturer at UNSW training business presentation skills to MBA students.
Gerry consults to various corporations nationwide as their business and presentations coach.
