Guest Speaker: Scott OBrien
As an augmented reality (AR) commercialisation pioneer since 2009, Scott has seen AR and VR move from “magic show” to multi-billion-dollar functional applications.
From working with AR in Olympic opening ceremony concepts through to building Minority Report rooms for telcos, Scott is now building AR and VR into applications that can be an integral and fun part of daily social habits.
Many people looking into AR and VR have heard of 360 video and CGI renderings but few have discovered volumetric video. Scott’s new startup Humense is leading the world in volumetric video which allows the audience to walk around characters and the scene itself.
